The Memory and Commitment of a Senate that never loses Faith
A representation of loyal Malaguista fans, with more than 25 years of experience as Club members and season ticket holders, got together at La Rosaleda to commemorate the second meeting of the Malaguista Senate.
Some of our longest-serving season ticket holders shared a very pleasant morning yesterday at La Rosaleda Stadium. “You are the engine of Málaga,” said José Antonio Ruiz Guerra, Blue and White adviser, to define the numerous components of a Malaguista Senate gathered together at the 'temple', La Rosaleda.
The morning kicked off at 09:30 with the reception of over 50 Malaguista season ticket holders who entered the VIP area of the stadium's Tribuna section. After breakfast, there was a group photo on the pitch at La Rosaleda.
Subsequently, the majority of the event took place in the Club's 'Juan Cortés' press room, featuring an instructive talk in which sporting and non-sporting issues were discussed concerning everything Málaga CF.
On behalf of the Club, judicial administrator, José María Muñoz was present, along with advisers Francisco Martín Aguilar, José Antonio Ruiz Guerra and Abdullah Ben Barek; Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’ represented the MCF Foundation and Duda from the MCF Academy; plus the four department heads were in attendance; Manolo Gaspar, Alberto Martínez, Carlos Arias and Ana Vera.
“It’s great to see everyone again for another year. A club with our history needs this voice of experience and seniority,” said Martín Aguilar. “Thank you for being loyal to the club, from the bottom of my heart,” stressed Basti, while Ruiz Guerra echoed the concept of “Málaga's driving force. We must continue to trust, be enthusiastic and bring the best of ourselves,” he said.
After more than two hours, the event came to a close, once again demonstrating the strength of the union that exists within our great Malaguista Family.
