The match of the season.  This is how Málaga CF femenino’s duel with Sevilla FC is being described, taking place on Sunday at 12:30 at the José Gallardo.  Should they win, Raúl Iznata’s girls will be in first place of Women’s Second Division Group IV.

With the absence of two goalkeepers; Chelsea (due to suspension) and María Sampalo, who is competing in the under-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea, the Blue and Whites will try their best to beat the rival, who also remain undefeated in the competition.

Victory would put the Málaga side in first place in the rankings.  Sevilla have 28 points and only drawn in one match, whilst Málaga are in second place with 26 points.  A clash of the titans between the two favourites to gain promotion to Women’s First Division, along with Granada CF.
