The match will be officiated by De Burgos Bengoetxea, who will referee Málaga CF for the first time in an away game. The Bilbao-born ref arbitrated three matches at La Rosaleda in 2015/16 in LaLiga, resulting in two victories and one defeat for the Blue and Whites. MCF have come up against FC Barcelona in the First Division 15 times at Camp Nou, accumulating two victories and one draw on their visits to the Ciudad Condal.
To take into account
- Málaga CF is the last team to win a LaLiga match at Camp Nou without conceding a goal. Since 21st February 2015, when the Martiricos side won by 0-1 – with a goal from Juanmi – in Barça’s subsequent home defeats (against Real Madrid, Valencia CF and Deportivo Alavés) the locals have always scored.
- Due to an accumulation of cards, Camacho is suspended from this match. Along with the midfielder, Kameni and Rosales are the only MCF players who have played all minutes in LaLiga (990 minutes).
