The dominant trend of the weekend was draws; with three out of five 11-a-side games ending all square.
Atlético Malagueño
Dely Valdés’ boys suffered a narrow defeat (0-1) in the most painful way possible. A goal from Talavera defender, Nandi at the last minute prevented the Blue and Whites’ reserve team from claiming its first point of the competition. The match was highly competitive and there was a half for each side.
In the first half the visitors dominated play but failed to surpass a secure Kellyan. Whereas in the second half it was Dely Valdés’ boys who had the best opportunities but didn’t manage to convert. Finally, in the last play of the game, Nandi finished off a corner kick to score the only goal of the match.
