The team stepped on to the pitch at 10:30 for an intense session of more than an hour and a half focused on technical-tactical work with the ball taking centre stage.

Escassi and Cristian – who has recently renewed his contract – are gradually re-joining the group after training at a lesser pace on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lago Junior worked alongside physical trainer Toni Tapia, due to a strain to the left hamstring.

In addition, Chavarría and Bustinza continued with their respective recovery processes outside the group, along with homegrown players Víctor Olmo, Haitam and Moussa (in Mali with the Club’s permission).

In regard to the MCF Academy, U-19 international Juvenil winger, Álex Calvo was in training today, accompanying regular fixtures Carlos López, Arturo, Andrés Caro, Bilal,  Loren, the aforementioned Cristian and Issa Fomba.

Málaga CF’s third session of the week will get underway on Friday from 10:30 at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
