The final training session of the week for Víctor Sánchez del Amo’s team. The Malaguista coach held a press conference before training got underway. The team then had a video viewing before moving on to the pitch to continue training. Once on the field of play the team carried out activation rounds and rehearsed tactics and strategy aspects of play.
Both Juankar and Mikel completed the session normally, having overcome their physical problems that prevented them both from training at the beginning of the week. Meanwhile, Dani Pacheco trained between the gym and on the pitch, outside the group.
Homegrown players, Kellyan, Miguel de la Osa (juvenil goalkeeper), Cristo, Hugo and Antoñín were part of first team training today under Víctor’s orders as usual. Certain members of the reserve team, who are normally part of first team training, were absent today as Atlético Malagueño are also playing tomorrow.
The list of called-up players for the match against Sporting de Gijón will be announced tomorrow around two hours before kick-off.
