The President of the Entity, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani is celebrating his birthday this Sunday, having been linked to Málaga CF for the past nine years and three months. This makes him the longest-serving Malaguista owner.
During this time, the Entity has reached its top sporting achievements, with the historic participation in the UEFA Champions League being the icing on the cake. In addition, on a social level he has multiplied the Club’s impact in the city. The MCF Foundation, of which he is also a patron, has been involved in a wide range of social sectors. Projects such as Málaga Genuine, the Siempre Fuerte Awards as well as various annual initiatives such as the blood and bone marrow drive at La Rosaleda, or the solidarity match, amongst others, are good examples of this.
Málaga CF and the city are like family for Sheikh Abdullah and his commitment and hard work for the Blue and White are never-ending. He takes every opportunity to be close to the place where he calls ‘his home’ as we can see in the following audio-visual piece.
