Wednesday session on the main pitch at Martiricos

Málaga trained this morning at La Rosaleda Stadium, the second of four sessions the squad will complete ahead of Saturday’s league match in Cádiz.

The session got underway at around 10:30 with the usual tactical talk from Funes to his players. This was followed by physical activation and then a largely ball-focused tactical workout.

Homegrown defender Rafita took part in part of the session due to discomfort in his right knee, while Haitam missed training because of an issue with his left ankle.

Einar, along with long-term absentees Luismi and Pastor, continue their respective recovery processes away from the main group.

Málaga CF will return to training tomorrow, Thursday, at 10:30 at La Rosaleda Stadium’s facilities.
