Pre-match warm-up session before the third summer friendly

Málaga CF trained on Wednesday morning in Estepona ahead of their third preseason match against Qatar’s Al Wakrah at the Marbella Football Center.

The team completed their fourth day of training this morning on the field adjacent to the Atalaya Park Hotel. The morning session focused on activation and strategy ahead of this afternoon’s match against Qatar’s Al-Wakrah.

Alfonso Herrero was the main news today after leaving the Malaguista training camp. During yesterday afternoon’s session, the goalkeeper suffered a forehead injury in an accidental collision. The impact caused a cut that required him to be taken to a hospital. The Málaga CF captain is doing well, has been discharged, and is now resting at home with his family. His recovery will determine his availability.

Outside the group, those physically unfit, Luismi, Jauregi, and the long-term injured players Haitam, Ramón, and Moussa continue their respective recoveries.

This evening: Málaga CF will take on Al Wakrah (19:00, Marbella Football Center).
