The midfielder from the Balearic Islands was aware of how tough this match would be: “The coach insisted throughout the week that this would be one of our most difficult games. We struggled in the first half and found it hard to find space. The team has a great ability to make a comeback.”
Following this win, Darder hopes the positive results continue: “There is a long way to go in the League competition yet, so we need to make the most of next weekend’s League break and everything we’ve achieved so far, but also concentrate on our next game.”
Lastly, Sergi Darder is grateful for Javi Gracia’s faith in him and the support of the fans: “I’m really thankful to the coach for every chance he has given me, as well as my teammates who help me a great deal.
