Sebas Fernández appearance in front of the Media

"I’m very grateful for the people who had confidence in me and I’m very happy to be with this club, in a beautiful city and a fantastic league in which I have always dreamed of playing. It’s time I was training and getting myself in form. I am what he needs (Ferreira) and he put his trust in me so he will have thought about where I can play".

"I am very proud to be here an I hope I can live up to this. It is a big challenge, I’ve played for many years in Uruguay and Argentina and I am very happy. I have not had any problem with my knee; I have played continuously for almost six years. I played for Uruguay and I am always ready if I am called. (About his double nationality) My grandparents, my old man and my uncle were born in Ferrol, Galicia".

"I’m a quick forward, I fight for the ball, I like to run everywhere searching, and I don’t like to lose. Dario Silva? That a Uruguayan did so well and opened up the doors for the rest of us. Dario had some fantastic seasons here, I hope that I can do what he did. I’m not going to say how many goals I will score, the goal is there to play and I will get the most that I can for Málaga".

"I fought a lot for my place in the World Cup. The players who were there were at an impressive level and they had to be played. I spoke a lot with Sebastián Eguren and Godin and the told me a little about the club. I am eager to be here".
