Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Uruguay forward, Sebastián fernández, spoke to the media today, Friday 28th January, minutes before starting this morning’s training session at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
Seba Fernández’s statements:
“We’re relaxed and wanting to work to get out of this situation.”
“We started the championship well, in the positions that we wanted, but the last third of the first leg didn’t go how we would have liked and now we have to work even more to change the situation. We’re at ease and full of desire to achieve it.”
“We continue to be very near to those European positions and we know that we have to get the points starting from now.”
“A derby is the greatest for a player, at least for me. I like playing them. In Andalucía the terraces are very colourful and the people in the street make you feel that they (these types of matches) very important. which they are and, as a manager I once had said to me, “Derby matches are presents for the fans,” and that’s what we’re looking for.”
“We’ll think about other games in the future, but right now the immediate and fundamental thing is to win the forthcoming derby.”
