Seba: “Against Zaragoza it’ll be tough; they’re fighting for survival.”

The international Uruguay forward, Sebastián Fernández, has this Wednesday 22nd February, attended a press conference minutes before the morning’s training session.

Seba's statements:

(Personal) “I always believe in myself and in what I can contribute to the team and I work in every match to make that a reality.  Rondón and I have been working together for a year and a half, with many matches played, and we’re good to help out the team with whatever it needs.”

“Rondón’s always fighting, he’s focused and hungry for a goal and to be an impressive player and that sets him apart from others.”

(Team) “We have to go out to win no matter which rival we have.  Now we’re not thinking about the match against Athletic.  We’re at ease over our play and the intensity that we have although we know we have to complete this with goals, but there’s no point looking at what’s gone; it’s all about winning on Saturday.  They’re different games and we have to move everything forward.”

“The journey to Europe is at home, that’s what we always think and, luckily, we’re doing well here.”

“With such a close league, the positions now don’t matter; instead it’s about being up there in those places at the end of the season.”

(Zaragoza) “All opponents are dangerous, complicated and the make games tough.  We’ll need to do well to win against Zaragoza.  They have some great players and they’re fighting for survival and they’re certainly not dead yet.”
