Sadiku, bronze ‘pichichi’ of the decade

The Albanian striker ends the season having scored 13 goals in 2019/20. He is the third highest Malaguista scorer out of the last 10 league seasons.

Only Sandro Ramírez and Salomón Rondón, each scoring 14 goals in the 16/17 and 10/11 seasons in the First Division respectively, surpass Armando Sadiku’s stats in the 19/20 campaign in the Second Division.

The Malaguista ‘pichichi’ has been an indisputable striker in his 36 LaLiga SmartBank games, totalling almost 3,000 minutes of play (2,938). As well as 13 goals, five from the penalty spot (100% accuracy) he provided one goal assist. Sadiku made 75 shots, 34 on target. That means nearly 40% of his shots at goal found the net.

The forward, on loan from Levante UD, surpasses team captain Adrián as ‘pichichi’. The Madrid-born number ‘8’ is MCF’s second highest scorer with six goals.
