Málaga CF participated in the Gran Feria ‘Sabor a Málaga’ this Tuesday 6th December, Constitution Day, the promotional brand of the Diputación Provincial.
The Gran Feria 'Sabor a Málaga', located on the Paseo del Parque from last Saturday 3rd to next Sunday 11th is a showcase for the best food from all over the province.
And, of course, Málaga CF had to be at the Diputación Provincial’s great promotional fair, the entity's main sponsor. The Malaguista delegation that visited on Tuesday 6th December, Constitution Day, was made up of José María Muñoz, judicial administrator; Francisco Martín Aguilar, Protocol and Institutional Relations adviser; Lucas Rodríguez, MCF Foundation coordinator; Alfred N'Diaye, first team player; Nazareth, from MCF Femenino; and Cristian Cruz from the Genuine team.
Manuel Marmolejo, third vice president of the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, stated that with the Gran Feria ‘Sabor a Málaga’ they are “supporting Malagueño producers, agriculture, gastronomy and, of course, Málaga CF. We are the main sponsors of Málaga CF, they wear our ‘Sabor a Málaga’ slogan on their shirt, they take it all over Spain promoting our products, and we are always behind the team,” he said.
The third vice president went on to acknowledge that the relationship between the Diputación Provincial and Málaga CF is “important. The support that we give to the 'Sabor a Málaga' brand is the same support that we give to Málaga CF, and not only to the first team, but also to Femeninio and the Foundation that does crucial work with Málaga Genuine for the integration of these young people,” he added.
For his part, Blue and White player N’Diaye praised the quality of the province's local products and the great atmosphere at the event: “As footballers we must take care of ourselves and here in Málaga we have many local products that help us. We can eat well, there is fish, fruit, nuts... It's good to have this and that people know what we eat. I’ve had a great day with the people and the fair is something to bring us all together.”
The event, which brought together a crowd of Malagueños who enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere and the quality of local products, also featured a prize draw to win shirts amongst everyone present.
The Gran Feria ‘Sabor a Málaga’ is on until Sunday 11th December and provides an excellent opportunity to taste and purchase the best products from Málaga and the province, over more than a hundred stalls along the Paseo del Parque.
