Rosales: “We want to win to shake off this streak”
The third Malaguista captain attended to the media in a press conference following this Thursday morning’s training session: “The only formula is to work hard and that’s what we’re doing”.
Solution, work
“Obviously, we’re the first ones to know that things aren’t going how we wanted them to. We are aware that the only way to change it is to work hard, and that’s what we’re doing. Every day we’re training to the maximum, striving to change this dynamic that nobody, both ourselves and the fans, want to be in. Let’s try to get out of this”.
Being strong at home, key
“I think at home we need to start earning points straight away. We all want to win as soon as possible to shake off this streak we’ve been having. The only formula is to work hard and that’s what we’re doing”.
Minimise mistakes
“In many of the games we’ve had good phases during play, but it’s true we’ve experienced stages where it appears we’ve fallen asleep, and that’s what we need to improve on. We know we’re in this negative situation, so we need to work hard to improve it and minimise as much as possible the number of mistakes we’re making”.
One thought, the match against CD Leganés
“From here on in, every match will be like a final to us. Our next rival is CD Leganés, a complicated adversary as they’re a strong team, but I think we need to see them in that way. The weeks pass by, but we must focus on each match at a time. Leganés are coming up so we need to concentrate all our energies in trying to achieve a good result at home and bring joy to our fans, as they certainly deserve it”.
Ontiveros
“It’s positive news for the Club. I think he’s a player with great quality and a lot to contribute. He needed time to reflect, which he’s now done. He joins the team and I’m sure he’ll help us a lot”.
