Rosales: “There’s a long way to go, we cannot give up”

Blue and White right-winger, Roberto Rosales affirms “we did many things to take victory. It’s time to pick ourselves up and focus on Saturday”.

Match analysis

“Nobody expected this result from how the match panned out. It was anybody’s game, yet at the end, with luck on their side, they got the winning goal. We didn’t have dominance of the game, but we did have the most promising scoring opportunities. When you don’t score, this can happen”.

Lift our heads up

“In the first half they had more control, and in the second we took a step forward. We had the clearest opportunities of the game. Right at the end a fortuitous action took place against us. The team is hurt. We don’t want to be in this position, but it is what it is. It’s time to pick ourselves up and be more united than ever in our fight. There’s a long way to go, and we cannot make the mistake of letting go or giving up”.

Dressing room

“The whole dressing room feels down after this game. We did many things to take victory, but it wasn’t to be. The rival scored from a chance action, and we didn’t. That’s football. It’s time to pick ourselves up and focus on Saturday”.
