Right-winger, Roberto Rosales held a press conference this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga press room: “There are 10 matches left and every point will be more important.”
Good spirits
“The team is in good spirits, we’re heading into the final part of the season and we’re doing pretty well. In ourlast game we weren’t able to make the most of the goals we scored, but not losing was important. Now we’re focused on Sporting, which will be a very difficult match.”
Kameni’s injury
“It’s hard for the group because of how much‘Charlie’means to us, and what he’s done all season, but the team has a replacement and we’ll be working extremely hard in order to move forward. It was an unfortunate action for him, but I’m certain he’ll recover well. The goal will be very well looked after, there has always been healthy competition throughout the season, and I don’t think there’ll be any problems in that respect.”
Continuity and personal performance
“I’ve not had any type of injury, so I hope that continues. Maintaining regularity is important for any player, as taking part in matches gives you confidence. I came here to work hard and achieve this continuity. Thank God I haven’t suffered any injury and I hope to end the season in the best way.”
Final stretch of the season
“Everything is very tight at the moment. We’re entering the part of the season in which each point will be crucial. We are aware of the importance of the game and the difficulty of the rival(Sporting); a very dangerous team who plays very well. As the home side, we’ll go all out to clinch a positive result, as Friday’s match will be a decisive one. There are 10 matches left and every point we achieve will be important to achieve our objective. The team has had a very good season, we must continue working hard and end the season as strong as possible.”
