Rosales debuts in Copa America with a victory

Malaguista player, Roberto Rosales kicks off with a win in the Copa America Centenario, underway in the US since 3rd June.

Blue and Whites’ right-winger, Rosales, was in the starting-11 and played the 90 minutes of Jamaica-Venezuela, held at Soldier Field in Chicago.  The match ended in a win for the ‘Vinotinto’ side (0-1), thanks to a goal from Josef Martínez in minute 15 of play.  Malaguistas, Juanpi Añor and Mikel Villanueva remained on the substitutes’ bench for this game.

Venezuela secured three vital points to claim second place of Group C in the Copa America Centenario.  Group leaders, Mexico defeated Uruguay by 3-1 in Phoenix, without the participation of Malaguista goalkeeper, ‘Memo’ Ochoa (substitute).

Cop, substitute in Croatia’s friendly

Last Saturday, Croatia played the last friendly before the Euro 2016 kicks off, taking place in France from 10th June to 10th July.  Duje Cop wasn’t part of Croatia’s biggest win in history, 10-0 against San Marino in Rijeka, and remained on the substitutes’ bench.
