Blue and Whites’ striker, Duje Cop has been called-up by Croatia to compete in the Euro 2016 tournament, taking place in France from 10th June to 10th July.
The forward, on loan to the Malaguistas during 2015/16, has been rewarded for his good performance towards the end of the season. Cop scored seven goals in LaLiga – plus three assists – in 31 matches (2,064 minutes of play), pairing up with Charles (12 goals), and scoring half of Málaga CF’s goals in League competition (19 out of 38 goals).
The Croatian national team, a rival of Spain in Group D of the Euro 2016, includes prestigious players such as Modric, Rakitic, Mandzukic, Kalinic, Perisic, Kovacic, goalkeeper, Subasic and captain, Srna, amongst others.
