Esteban Rolón, born on 25th March 1995 in Posadas (Misiones, Argentina), arrives at Málaga CF from Argentinos Juniors. The young defensive pivot played an excellent role last season with the Red and Whites, achieving promotion to Argentina’s First Division after being proclaimed champions of ‘B’ in 2016/17.
Rolón was formed in the lower divisions of the ‘semillero del mundo’, as his team of origin is called, from whose youth ranks came the likes of Redondo, Riquelme, Cambiasso, Coloccini, Sorín, Cagna, Cáceres, Biglia, Batista and one of the biggest stars in the history of world football, Diego Armando Maradona.
The Argentinean player, with a Polish passport, has successfully passed the medical at Vithas Salud Rincón Medical Center Rosaleda.
