Ricca again features in Uruguay’s plans

The Málaga CF defender has been called-up to join his national team for two matches, against Venezuela and Colombia, qualifiers for the 2018 Russia World Cup.

The ‘Charrúa’ coach, Óscar Washington Tabárez has announced the list of 23 players for the two upcoming international commitments in October.  Federico Ricca returns to the Uruguay line-up.

The Malaguista defender will likely cross paths with the three Venezuelan internationals, Juanpi, Rosales and Mikel (awaiting the official line-up of the ‘Vinotinto’ side).  These rivals will be in action on 6th October in Montevideo (Uruguay); then on 11th October, Uruguay will face Colombia in Barranquilla.

Ricca is again in Tabárez’s plans, with the ‘celeste’ team still top of the group with 16 points, following five victories, two draws and just two defeats.
