Venezuela is looking to qualify to the 2018 Russia World Cup, and as on previous occasions, is counting on Juanpi, Rosales and Mikel Villanueva. Coach, Rafael Dudamel has called-up 28 players to come together in the Venezuelan capital (Caracas), to travel to Montevideo (Uruguay) on Monday 3rd October.
Three days later, on the 6th October, the first knockout match will take place against Uruguay, where the three Malaguistas will come up against their teammate, Uruguayan-born Federico Ricca.
The ‘Vinotinto’ team will again be in action on 11th October at the Metropolitano de Mérida stadium (Venezuela). Brazil will be the second rival, in the quest for a pass to the Russia World Cup.
