The Clubs’ Foundations celebrate their 10th meeting

The Málaga CF Foundation was present at the event on Thursday at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, bringing together the majority of LaLiga clubs.

The Málaga CF Foundation was represented by its coordinator, Lucas Rodríguez at the 10th Foundations’ Meeting held in Barcelona, in which social and charity initiatives were discussed that are undertaken by foundations of professional football clubs.

The event, which was attended by more than 75 representatives from various foundations, was inaugurated by the executive director of RCD Espanyol, Ramón Robert, along with LaLiga corporate director general, Javier Gómez.

The event got underway with the presentation of the ‘Social Fair Play’ project, by the LaLiga Foundation’s team, an initiative that aims to achieve Corporate Social Responsibility in global professional football.

Following this, the RCD Espanyol Foundation held a presentation on the technology applied within the foundations, and continued with a tour of the stadium, to see the historical restoration work being undertaken at the Catalan-based club.

The meeting concluded with a round-table discussion, in which those in charge of the Valencia CF, SD Eibar and Atlético de Madrid foundations unveiled their museum and restoration projects.
