Restriction-free football is back!

During tonight’s Málaga-Real Sociedad B clash, definitive steps will be taken towards the long-awaited new normal. The stadium’s cloakrooms and bars will all be open as normal.

This won’t be just another match. #MálagaRSociedadB, corresponding to matchday 14 of LaLiga SmartBank, will close the first third of the competition and, in turn, mark the occasion where fans can once again enjoy old traditions at their own football ‘temple’.

There have already been several matches without capacity restrictions, where we’ve seen crowds of around 15,000 fans, a remarkable number that we hope to increase as the season advances.

With Málaga now at COVID-19 Level 0, the cloakrooms will be reopened for fans who wish to leave their belongings at the stadium.

In addition, the bars will also be open at the Blue and White stadium, in the same areas and with the same services as before the pandemic. One hundred percent.

Finally, we remind you that the wearing of face coverings remains mandatory, despite the aforementioned services returning to normal.

The eternal shield

As from today, Málaga Club de Fútbol will return to the traditional shield of the Martiricos entity on all social media profiles. The special logo featuring the infinity symbol as the protagonist for the last year and a half, which paid tribute to all those who left us due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, will forever remain in our memory and our Blue and White hearts.

Not long to go now until this whole nightmare is behind us. We’ll return to our normal lives and keep the dream alive at La Rosaleda.
