Reserve team hopes to continue positive run of results against Villacarrillo
Atlético Malagueño welcomes Villacarrillo Club de Fútbol to the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground on Sunday at 11:30 a.m., for the 11th Third Division Group 9 game of the season.
Following a difficult start to the season, the Blue and Whites’ reserve team has claimed points from the last six matches, and is now in 5th place in the group, just two points away from the Second B Division promotion play-offs, following an away win against Atarfe Industrial by 1-4.
With Falu Aranda absent due to a distension to his anterior cruciate ligament for the past two weeks, Álex Portillo is suspended from tomorrow’s game due to an accumulation of yellow cards and midfielder, Paul is also out of action suffering with a bruised ankle, therefore ‘Juvenil’ player Pepín is making his debut in an Atlético Malagueño line-up.
Villacarrillo CF is in 15th place in the table with eight points, despite a 3-1 win against Atlético Melilla last week, their second consecutive victory. So far this season they’ve achieved two wins, two draws and six defeats.
Tickets for this game are priced at one euro for Málaga CF season ticket holders, and five euros for the general public.
Team line-up: Aarón and Godino (goalkeepers), Roy, Diego, Alberto López, Cristian, Calero (defenders), Ernesto Gómez, Pablo, Mula, Deco, Ernesto Cornejo, Pepín (midfielders), Rufo, Mauri and Zalea (strikers).
