Renato returns to the group on a day marked by intermittent rainfall

The Blue and Whites returned to training this Tuesday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Portuguese winger Renato Santos completed the session at a good pace within the group.

A rainy morning in which the majority of the team, having returned from Madrid at midday yesterday and rested in the afternoon, returned to training to prepare for #MálagaAlbacete on Friday.

Following the usual warm-up and the initial part of the session on the pitch, the starting players from A Coruña continued training in the stadium’s interior galleries and the gym, under the supervision of physical trainer, Enrique Ruiz. The rest of the group underwent a normal session with the return of Renato Santos, in training at a good pace with the group.

As well as Iván and Harper (starting line-up at Riazor), Kellyan and Hicham were the reserve team members in first team training today. Juankar, on the other hand, underwent specific training together with Manu Gestoso, alternating between physical exercises and work with the ball. Cifuentes continues his specific recovery treatment and Mula, suffering with a long-term injury, visited the stadium to say hello to his teammates.

African internationals Munir and N’Diaye were absent from the session, unlike Haksabanovic. The player from Montenegro, called-up to the U-21s, made the decision to not join his national team, and stayed in training with the Blue and Whites.

Tomorrow, Wednesday from 10:00, Málaga CF will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium.
