Málaga were in training this Saturday at La Rosaleda’s annexe ground. A recovery session for the starting players from yesterday, a normal session for the others and a setback for Juankar who retired early with an adductor injury.
The starting players from the match against Granada underwent continuous running and physical recovery work, whilst the others focused on ball work and trained on a reduced-sized pitch. Miguel Torres, suffering with a viral infection in his upper airways, and Rosales, who suffered a blow to his back, trained in the gym separately from the rest of the team.
For his part, Juankar joined the group for the start of the session but retired early due to injury problems to his left adductor muscle.
The team has Sunday and Monday off and will resume training on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.
