Recio, Juanmi and Isco make the top 77 in Fútbol Draft '12
Malaguistas players Isco, Recio and Juanmi are amongst the top 77 talented finalists for the Fútbol Draft 2012 awards, a body which promotes and supports the most talented youth players (of between 16 and 20 years old) in Spanish football.
In a ceremony which took place in Lezama, Fútbol Draft’s Second Committee selected the 77 players who included amongst them Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Recio in the best right midfielder category; Juanmi in the right wing category; and Isco as a best striker nominee.
This Committee was formed by Iñaki Sáez (president of Futbol Draft), Javier Lasagabaster (director general), Julen Lopetegui and Ignacio Quereda (RFEF), Ángel Caballero (AEAF), Luis Rubiales and Jorge Azkoitia (AFE), Manu Sarabia (former player), Aritz Gabilondo and Nacho Silván.
Fútbol Draft will meet again to decide the top 55 talents, before cutting the numbers to 33 finalists before announcing the final eleven at a gala finale.
