The 18-player squad includes Elsa, Torralvo, Carmela and Lucía Ramos, all of the team’s new signings apart from goalkeeper Judith de Frutos, who is unavailable due to fitness issues, along with Arantxa, Águeda and Carmen Aguilar.
The Malaguistas will make their competitive debut this Sunday at 12:00, on the main ‘Abdallah Ben Barek’ pitch at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF.
It’s the opening round of the Segunda Federación de Fútbol Femenino Group 3, with Málaga facing a familiar opponent in recent seasons: Canary Islands side Guiniguada Apolinario CD.
It will mark the start of a hectic week of competition, with Málaga travelling to Huelva on Wednesday 9th September (18:30), to face Sporting Club in the Copa de la Reina. Then, next Saturday (17:00), they will make their first league away trip of the season, with Cacereño Femenino Atlético their rival.
