Juanfran Funes’ squad began the first training session of the week around 10:30. As usual, the session featured physical work and technical exercises with the ball, while the players who started against Levante worked at a lower intensity during the final part of the session.
Niño continues to train with the squad, while Murillo and Calero were absent as they undergo specific treatment. Aaron Ochoa, who is undergoing surgery today, and Julen Lobete, who will undergo surgery in the coming days, complete the list of injured players.
The team will have a rest day on Tuesday. Training will resume on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10:30, as Málaga prepare at La Rosaleda for their next league fixture away to RC Celta in Vigo on Sunday 13th September at 14:00.
