A date has been set. Aside from the relevant medical checks, the first training session on the pitch for the 18/19 pre-season will take place on Monday 9th July at La Rosaleda’s Annexe.
The transition from winter grass (‘Ray Grass’) to summer grass (Bermuda) on the surrounding pitch started before the main pitch at La Rosaleda and will complete its renovation process earlier.
As such, the squad will use the facilities at the Martiricos stadium for the start of the pre-season, which includes a gym, dressing room and medical and physiotherapy facilities, and the other pitch known as ‘The Annexe’.
