Periana, a corner of Axarquía with a young Malaguismo base
The Peña Malaguista Malakatón de Periana was officially inaugurated on Wednesday 5th February, becoming part of the large family of federated Málaga fan clubs.
A historic day for the beautiful mountain town of Axarquía, which hosted the inauguration of the Peña Malaguista Malakatón de Periana in the María Zambrano Hall at City Hall.
The event was attended by a delegation from Málaga CF, led by player Chupe, accompanied by Francisco Martín Aguilar (Protocol and Institutional Relations Advisor), Antonio López (Advisor), and Miguel Molina, president of the Federación de Peñas Malaguistas. The mayor of Periana, Meritxell Vizuete, was also present at the event.
There were a large number of children and young people present, who showered Chupe with attention, as he tirelessly signed postcards and took photos throughout the event. This youthful spirit was embodied by Manuel Fernández, the president of the fan club and the youngest among all the federated Málaga fan groups.
“Thank you for all the love, I hope to bring many joys to Malaguistas with victories,” said Chupe, while Martín Aguilar added: “It is a joy that Málaga Club de Fútbol has such a young fan club with such a bright future here.” Molina, for his part, expressed gratitude to the fans, saying: “Thank you for the hard work, and thanks to the mayor for her support in helping the fan club continue to grow.”
Such a lovely day that served as a meeting point and a unifying event for Blue and White fans in Periana. This new fan club strengthens its bond with Málaga CF and will undoubtedly become a reference for Malaguistas living in the Axarquía.
