Málaga Club de Fútbol carried out their penultimate training session of the week and year today, 30th December, in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
The Blue and Whites’ first team carried out another training session, which had as big news the reincorporation to the group of Kris, as well as the three Malaguista players who took part in the benefit ‘Champions for Africa’ match: Cazorla, Eliseu and Joaquín. However, the latter of these three remained in the gym, alongside Helder Rosario who is there whilst he waits to receive the results of some medical tests later today.
The players began today’s session with an intense physical workout, starting with the usual exercises with and without the ball as well as shooting practice.
Willy Caballero, Rubén and the reserve Pol worked under the orders of the goalkeeping coach, Xabi Mancisidor.
Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Sporting Director, Antonio Fernández, also attended this session in which the squad was divided into groups: with two groups playing a mini-match, one jogging, and the other doing ball work. The training ended with all members of the squad playing a match on a reduced pitch.
The first team will end 2011 with tomorow morning’s closed session at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium
