Blue and Whites’ captain, Sergio Barbosa Valente ‘Duda’ poses alongside the tournament banner, along with provincial government sports delegate, Cristóbal Ortega; president of the Peñas Federation, Miguel Molina; and president of the host peña, Miguel Cortés.
The day kicks off at 09:00 with a 7-a-side football tournament between the federated Malaga peñas and various local groups. Then at midday, all guests at the event can enjoy a paella.
All participants must donate one euro or a kilo of foodstuffs. There will be a reasonably priced bar and a prize draw. All monies raised will go towards the Spanish Association against Cancer and Cáritas.
