Pellicer: “We want to secure the objective tomorrow”

The Malaguista coach held a press conference ahead of #MálagaFuenla. “We must think about winning all three points in every game and go as far as we can”, he stated.

Rival

“Fuenlabrada are a tough, complicated team. They’ve been plagued by injuries, have a large squad with enormous potential and the coach knows the category perfectly well. They have fewer points than their gameplay reflects. They try to keep a fast pace and control the match. We need to be incredibly solid in defence and focus on the vertical. In terms of the squad, they are 10 out of 10 in this division, which they’ve shown. It’s also a final for them, and for us tomorrow’s match is a final to secure the objective and get on the right track that will allow us to dream. To keep that excitement alive, we need the three points”.

Last stage

“The team is eager to continue doing what it is doing, focusing on each game. They have earned the respect of the competition with their hard work. The lads are hungry, which they prove on a daily basis. We’re going to get rid of the things that are weighing us down. For me it’s a pleasure to work with these players. There are seven games remaining, the first tomorrow, but it’s a final without being tragic. A win would let us seal the objective, we must think about winning all three points in every game and go as far as we can”.

Benkhemassa

“He sustained injury in Wednesday’s training match. There are five weeks remaining, so he won’t be fit for the remainder of the season, nor are we going to force him”.
