“The match came undone very quickly and the three goals stemmed from second plays. Against this type of team, if you’re not strong on these second plays, then what we saw happen, happens. They have such high quality players and although we managed to recover in the first half, with shots at goal, they were very sporadic, from outside the area and not at all clear. Espanyol have far more speed and precision of execution than any other team”.
