“We didn’t get off to a good start. I must take the blame, because as coach, I didn’t convey the importance of the match and how we had to enter this game. The first 20 minutes were tough, we didn’t provoke mistakes, we just waited, we didn’t pressure the rival, nor were we calm when we had the ball. Yet the rival, with ball actions, second plays and orientation changes, got into the game. We had the odd pretty clear opportunity, but we weren’t in it. It’s a humbling experience for us all, we must go into each match with the attitude we’ve always had”.

“We must recover from this mistake and on Monday start preparing for the match against Alcorcón. It’s a warning we weren’t expecting. If we don’t give 120% in every game, it’s impossible. Like a family, we must stick together. It was a highly important match as it made us look to the future far better, but the good thing about football is that next Saturday we have an important game against Alcorcón”.
