Pellegrini: “We did what we had to in order to win; the only thing missing was the end result”

Manuel Pellegrini, the malaguista manager, spoke at a press conference after the clash between Real Betis Balompié y Málaga Club de Fútbol.

Pellegrini’s statements:
 
“We had the load of necessary chances to win that we haven’t had in other matches, but we didn’t take advantage of them.”
 
“We were ordered, balanced, had a good defense; but we knew we’d have a very motivated rival and they made it very complicated for us to grab the three points that we were looking for.  We only managed to get one point, but it’s always important to get something.”
