(Match evaluation). “I think that that it’s been a very complete match in every sense – from the point of view of defending and physicality. We were the dominating force virtually throughout the entire match, even though there were few clear chances because Zaragoza closed down the back end well and defended with great momentum, and Roberto saved two great shots from Van Nistlerooy as well as Seba’s close calls.  We’re not settled about the draw after having the chances we had and the control of the ball that we had.  But I’m happy with the performances in a match in which Zaragoza played hard.”
 
(Málaga’s defence, conceding the least amount of goals in the championship so far). “We have a secure defence that’s not just based on defending, but also about the guys creatively performing in their positions on the pitch. It’s a secure defence and we were looking for personality and some great football from the outset.  We did everything possible to win, but you can’t always win and I’m very happy with the team.”
 
(10 points out of 15). “It’s an important figure; yes, we would’ve liked to have been leaders, but now we must maintain our positions in the top end of the table with a home match against Getafe, a match that’ll also be complicated.”
