A month after his arrival at Málaga CF, Pedro Morales made his official debut with the Blue and Whites tonight, in the 27th BBVA League match against Real Valladolid at the José Zorrilla Stadium. He joined the match in the 77th minute of play.
After the match, the Chilean-born player appeared in the mixed zone: “I’m pleased with my performance tonight. I’m very comfortable with my teammates, and feel very much a part of the team. I tried my best to support the boys as much as possible tonight.”
This debut was very important for Morales: “It’s been hard, only my family know how tough it’s been for me, but I’m really pleased I made my debut tonight. I hope to play as much as I can, which is really important to me.”
Although he can’t take part in Wednesday’s game, as he isn’t signed up to the Champions League, the midfielder shows his unconditional support for his teammates: “We’re determined to reach the quarter finals, and the team really deserves it after all the hard work this season.”
