I found myself in this situation when there were only a few matches left until the start of the league, and luckily, I was able to have this level of continuity later on. “I practically hadn’t played with Luis until the first League match, just one friendly in Granada, and little by little I gained confidence together with him, we’re getting to know each other more and I’m learning how he is on the pitch. He’s bringing a lot of experience to the entire defence, the whole team, he’s a man who has played a lot of First Division games and in this category too. I’m learning working alongside him and getting better every day”.

“The match we played in Gran Canaria was an even match, it could easily have ended with a 0-0 or 0-1 result. In the end it was 1-0 and well, we’re aware of the work we’ve been doing throughout the start of the season, things are going well as the line of work we’re following is the right one for the team”.
