Pablo Guede: “Putting something good together takes time”
Malaguista coach, Pablo Guede held a press conference ahead of Saturday’s match against CD Mirandés. “I have no doubt that we’ll be successful,” he affirmed.
The Blue and White coach held a press conference in which he highlighted his wish “to work hard, turn the situation around and try to win our first match. If we thought we couldn’t do any damage to them, we wouldn’t go,” he said about the possibility of achieving a positive result against a rival that he considers “is a team with a good dynamic and who are clear about what they play and they do it well.”
Considering the team’s current situation, Pablo remains calm and insists on the need to be patient. “A new project was initiated, with 12 new players, which needs time and patience. If we wanted to secure promotion in December, given the signings we’ve made, we couldn’t do it. We need time,” he added.
In relation to the group being formed, Guede commented on what he wants: “We intend to see a solid team that plays well and that entertains people.” However, in 22 days “with 14 training sessions all together, or less, it’s very difficult. We’re tired of seeing similar situations ending in success. If there’s no patience, we’re on the wrong road,” said the Argentinean coach.
To conclude the press conference, he offered his vision of the Club's situation. “Putting something good together takes time. Yet you can destroy it in two days. The club was destroyed, and we expect to already be enjoying successes. But I will say this. I have no doubt that we’ll be successful, no matter what happens on Saturday, whether we win, lose or draw, as the foundations have been laid,” he stated.
