Blue and white floral offering to the Divina Pastora

As we do every year before the start of the season, Málaga CF visited the Divina Pastora and Santa Teresa de Jesús parish church located in the Plaza de Capuchinos in the capital.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team, made up of the players and coaching staff, has made a floral offering to the Divina Pastora.

In the middle of the last century, in 1955, a tradition began with the Patron Saint of Málaga Sport. The Blue and White first team, under the name of Club Deportivo, Atlético Malagueño and MCF, has never missed this event, which has been repeated ever since. This event, two weeks before the start of the league against CD Castellón, marks the beginning of the 23/24 campaign.

The Club's institutional committee present at the event was headed up by advisers, Francisco Martín Aguilar, Abdullah Ben Barek and José Antonio Ruiz Guerra. Also present were the Club's judicial administrator, José María Muñoz; general manager of the Entity, Kike Pérez; and the Malaguista sporting director, Loren Juarros.

The Málaga CF captains delivered a beautiful offering of flowers to the iconic church in Málaga, wishing for good health and sporting successes for a season that gets underway on Saturday 26th August against CD Castellón at the Nuevo Castalia.

See you in 2024, Patrona!
