Málaga CF and Atlético Sanluqueño met on this chilly Saturday 2 December night on Primera Federación matchday 15, held at La Rosaleda in front of 15,817 fans.
The Blue and White starting line-up consisted of: A. Herrero; Jokin, Murillo, Einar, Dani Sánchez; Manu Molina, Dani Lorenzo, Juan Hernández, Kevin, Dioni and Roberto.
Pellicer's men stepped on to the pitch with the clear intention of taking possession and frequenting the rival half. In the first half, the Blue and Whites flirted with the goal on several occasions but were unable to score.
An active Juan Hernández and Kevin, tried to break the deadlock with shots and assists. Roberto, for his part, also very incisive, searched hard for the goal, but all were unsuccessful. The score remained 0-0 at half-time.
In the second half, Atlético Sanluqueño tried to surprise MCF on the counterattack, but the Blue and Whites barely allowed any chances. As time went on, Pellicer's men advanced lines and increased their presence in the rival half. Roberto, Larrubia, Dani Lorenzo, Kevin... the Blue and White attack, tried to break down the opponent's goal, but the rival goalkeeper or bad luck at the time of the finish prevented them from opening the scoring.
