N’Diaye and Escassi in group training

Málaga CF returned to training this afternoon at La Rosaleda’s Annexe. Alfred N’Diaye and Alberto Escassi, out of the squad list at the last minute in Las Palmas, partially re-joined the group dynamic.

Following a brief video session, Sergio Pellicer’s men stepped on to the pitch at 18:40. The first of four sessions during this short week ahead of Friday’s home game (21:00), against Levante UD.

There were two positives of the day. N’Diaye and Escassi, who didn’t travel to Las Palmas due to a syncope and a viral infection, respectively, partially and progressively returned to the group.

In addition, homegrown defender Andrés Caro, who was substituted yesterday in the second half of Malagueño's match against Real Jaén, suffered a muscular injury in the left hamstring (pending MRI).

Luis Muñoz underwent specific training, whilst Bustinza and Haitam remained in the gym. Olmo continues to alternate between the pitch and gym, and Moussa remains in Mali with the Club’s permission.

Goalkeepers Carlos López and Arturo, as well as players Cristian, Loren, Álex Calvo and new faces Arriaza, Recio and Márquez, were the reserve team members and Juveniles in first team training today.

Tomorrow, Tuesday at 10:30, the team will resume training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
