The RFEF’s Ciudad del Fútbol (Madrid) hosted the draw for the second round of the Campeonato de España-Copa de S.M. El Rey.
After winning the first round match last weekend, defeating Peña Deportiva de Ibiza on penalties, Málaga CF will again be away from home in the second round, this time against Nàstic de Tarragona.
This rival competes in Primera Federación Group 2, currently in 7th place with 16 points out of 11 games. They have accumulated four victories, four draws and three defeats, scoring 12 goals and conceding 13. Guillermo is the top scorer with four goals.
Málaga CF will play Nàstic at Nou Estadi Costa Daurada next month (20th, 21st or 22nd December), with the time yet to be determined. Like the last match, this will be a single tie with extra time and penalties in the case of a draw at full-time.
The last precedent between Nàstic and MCF in Tarragona – in the league competition – was in 18/19. Matchday 31 in the Second Division (24/03/2019) ended in a Blue and White win by 0-1 with a goal from Dani Pacheco.
