“Goals come unexpectedly, sometimes in your favour, other times not. Against Granada it was a rebound; these are occasions when many players accumulate inside the area and the goalkeeper can’t see the ball well. Although the strikers didn’t score, their work is incredible. Anyone can score a goal, in the end Málaga CF took the lead which is what’s really important”.

“The fans’ support at home is essential. During tough times you draw strength from them. In the first few minutes of the second half, when we were close to the goal, they gave us the boost we needed to get it. It’s essential for us to keep them engaged. There are many League games left, many tight matches ahead, so the closer they are to us the better, as it’s what makes the difference between some teams and others”.
