Three very important points in play

“I believe that every team in this category deserves maximum respect. You never know if you’re going to be up or down when you start the season. There are teams at the bottom that surprise you, and I’m sure that one of them is Córdoba. They started out with problems, which are being resolved, and they’ll do anything to try and stay in the division. Nobody is in any doubt that the home fans will offer a great deal of support to their team, they’ll be striving for the three points in the fight against relegation, which for them is as important as it is for us in the top part of the standings. As such, it’s going to be a tough match, very even, with both teams needing the three points at stake”.

Zero confidence, a lot of work

“A very difficult match, with a great atmosphere on both sides as the two teams will be supported by their fans. A very intense match as every weekend there are less and less points in play, and you have to score the points in order to reach the objective. Their objective is also important. Therefore, we’re going there with zero confidence and ready for a lot of hard work and focus, as thinking you can win a game judging by your position in the table is very wrong. There are no favourites in the Second Division, and as we approach the last few months of competition, everyone is fighting for important goals, and neither is more important than the other”.

Responsibility to the fans

“When we go out there to play a match wearing the team shirt, we have an obligation to give everything for this shirt, this Club and the fans. Therefore, the responsibility remains the same, we’d be delighted to score the three points and will work hard for the fans”.
