Munir, Keidi, Mikel and Juanpi to join their national teams
The Moroccan goalkeeper, Albanian midfielder and two Venezuelan players are all MCF internationals during the upcoming FIFA calendar.
The four called-up players, all in the starting line-up yesterday in Girona, will head to their respective destinations (Munir and Keidi, today; Mikel and Juanpi, on Thursday 4th) but not homegrown player, Ramón, who played the second half of #GironaMálaga but is not joining Spain’s Under-19s due to a trauma to his right shoulder pending evolution. Ismael, also initially called-up to Spain’s U-19s, is also not joining the national team as he’s unfit.
Munir Mohand (Morocco)
The keeper forms part of the North African team’s line-up, the first with Vahid Halilhodzic at the helm, and will remain in concentration with his national squad until 10th September. Beforehand, on Friday 6th, a friendly is scheduled in Morocco against Burkina Faso.
Keidi Bare (Albania)
Called-up by the Albanian ‘A’ team for concentration between 2nd and 11th September, he will face two qualifiers for the 2020 Eurocup of Nations. On Saturday 7th in France against France; and on Tuesday 10th, at home, against Iceland. Both games will kick off at 20:45.
Mikel Villanueva and Juanpi Añor (Venezuela)
After taking part in the Copa America in Brazil, they have again been called-up by Rafael Dudamel for the Vinotinto side. The concentration in Tampa, Florida (USA) will be held until 10th September. At 03:00 (Spanish time) on the 11th, a friendly is scheduled between Venezuela and Colombia at the Raymond James Stadium.
